INDIANS- Pathetic fans!

What a sorry excuse for fans! Pathetic, not even a single Pak boundary was cheered. BUT these JANGLEES goes beserk when tendoori even farts.

Even Sanjay Manjrekhar and Shastri were criticising the crowds. Whenever i see the ugly faces of the fans i feel like smacking them on their heads.

Ten commandments for Indian fans:

1) Never cheer an opposition teams boundary or wicket (esp Pak)
2) Cover your ugly faces with the indian "triranga"
3) Boo your own Captain when he's not in good form
4) Cheer when Tendu ****
5) Cheer when the [****: Pls refrain from personal abuse] Sehwag slogs a boundary
6) When it appears as though the match is lost, leave the stadium
7) Or set the stadium on fire
8) Go beserk when the Indian team pinches a single
9) Cheer indian teams boundaries even if it is an outside or inside edge.
10)Start booing your own team after a few dot-balls

PP it's not about winning or losing, it's about acknowledging when a good shot is played and when the opposition team takes a wicket. My dad came up with an excellent quote 2day during Yoyo six against Chucky, he said

"Yeh indians tho aisay chupp hai, jaisay in ke mah mar gi ho!"

Fawad i couldn't agree more, itz very frustrating considering that just last year there team was treated so well! There were chrees every boundary every wicket you name it. Even when we lost there were fireworks and the crowd gave the indian team a standing ovation! I can't believe how badly we are being treated!!!

Oh, trust me, we arent being treated badly. If we were being treated badly, there would be riots and bottle throwing and stands set alight. This was fine albeit a touch rude

Let's just hope the crowds at the other grounds are more supportive. Not sure about Ahmedabad though.

To me it feels like most indian fans don't know jack about cricket and just come up to see a few slogs by Sehwag and co.

its a lack of knowledge/appreciation amongst most Indians who only turn up to see opposition wickets fall or their own batsmen go past the boundary rope.

Even Indian fans on the net will start cursing opposition players and calling them all sorts of filthy names rather than appreciating they were outplayed.

Its just the way they are, dont worry about it.

As someone mentioned above, if Afridi does score a big one somewhere like Ahmedabad we better make sure he goes out there in a Kevlar kit

You guys ain't seen hospitality yet, wait till Ahmedabad,
that has to be one of the most dangerous places for a Pakistani to be.

It varies from city to city.

Mohali fans were great.

Obviously the home team should support their team-but by not appreciating the opposition ocassionally, it doesnt look good.

Saying that, Pak fans probably went OTT last year during the ODI games.

Was saying that the other day. Sure.....clap when someone has hit a good shot or taken a good catch. Appreciate the cricket but the way people were actually CHEERING when India did well was an absolute disgrace in my opinion. The crowd should have been getting right behind Pakistan and making sure that the home advantage counts! Imagine being a Pakistani bowler and getting hit for a six and hearing your own countryman cheering and jumping around as if they were celebrating.

I think overall the Jeet Lo Dil theme went too far. Weshould treat our guests with respect and courtesy but it was a disgrace to start sucking up to them treating them like Kings while we were peasants.

boy!You guys are clutching at straws here..Have you seen some NFL or NBA crowds in the USA?They are so much for their home team that they often even pick fights with the away team..Its a game..Fans cheering their team is not a frikkin crime..I almost seems like u guys are getting paranoid over everything now that u have lost a couple of ODI's..Whats next?Everything is a big drama!

There was nothing disgraceful about it. And it certainly wasn't to that extent as you are describing it. Paksitan fans appreciated good cricket by Indians and that is how it should be. Sadly, some think such good behavior is "sucking up". That explains why Indian crowds are so damn unsporting.

no tapps we've been talking about the crowds since the jubilee cup, not only after we've lost a game. But this is another appropriate time to bring it up as its hurting at the moment... ;)
