Havn't been able to sleep for two days straight...need help please!!!

I didn't get any sleep whatsoever for the past two days. I even took sleeping pills but that didn't help. I had a fever of 103 degrees yesterday, but now its gone down to 100, so does anyone now if my fever has anything to do with me not being able to sleep? Do you think I'll be able to sleep once my fever goes away? Please help me guys, I got exams in two weeks time and I cant revise for it until I'm alright. Thanks.

this is something serious!

1. Get a doctors note for your exams. You should be able to get them delayed.

2. Drink lots of water.

3. Have a hot bath.....note not a shower, a bath. A hot bath should help you sleep.

4. It is almost certainly linked to your fever. Don't worry, you'll be able to sleep when the fever is gone.

Just make sure you dont fall asleep in the Bath otherwise there could be a EMERGENCY!

I always found a shower more helpful.
To add to Hash's advise, do loads of exercise in the morning. It will be good for your brain as well.

Yeah, i had this problem when i had fever, could not sleep at all - just laid there. Try sweating it out as your body naturally cools down this way, oh and drink lots of tea.

Not as such no but a hot bath does normally help me sleep.

Just to repeat what Rana said....don't fall asleep IN the bath!
