Legends of Yesteryear Part 2 : Mike Tyson
Iron Mike Tyson.
Whoa what a fighter. A gladiator, a beast, a machine. His fight record stands as follows :- 50 Wins, 6 Losses, 2 No Contest, 44 Knockouts Just a kid from the streets of Brooklyn, to Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World - Mike Tyson's story is a true tale of rags to riches… On 22nd November 1986, Tyson went into the ring with Trevor Berbick for the WBC heavyweight title. After only six minutes, the belt and the champion's title were his; at the age of 20, he was the youngest heavyweight champion ever. On August 1st 1987, Michael Gerard Tyson, the boy from Brooklyn, became the first man in a decade, the first in fact since Muhammed Ali, to hold all three titles and rule as Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. Sadly though for Tyson the lows seem to have outshone the highs, with his high profile brushes with the law.

The greatest fighter I have seen AFTER Mohammed Ali -= certainly the most destructive since George Foreman.
Remember watching a showcase/promo video on TV produced by a 2 guys who were willing to back Tyson in 1985-86. Was amazing - knockout after knockout after knockout. The thing that 'killed' his career was Robin Givens and his mother-in-law....has descended into a freak show since then. But as a boxer - he was AWESOME.

iqbal - that would be youngest heavyweight champion.
What a boxer he was, ferocious power, rumour was that he didnt even use weights which is remarkable considering his physique. His defense was underrated when he first started, he had a rock of chin, could take a good shot and yet knock someone out with either hand. It was sad when he turned into a one punch man, looking for one shot to end a fight. I would go along with oxy - 2nd greatest fighter i have seen after mohammad ali |

Completely different man now.
This guy had a tough upbringing and got bit too much at a young age. So much that he couldn't handle. Listening to him now is a great experience , he learnt his lessons. A true legend ! A humble man now who regrets his past Can't help but admire this guy

They don't make boxers like him anymore.
What a beast this guy was in the ring. Annihilated everything in sight.
