I grew up watching matches in Lahore, Faisalabad and Gujranwala (Tests and ODIs). All these places are GREAT to watch cricket - specially Qaddafi Stadium but Toronto was unique experience because; 1) In an Ind vs Pak game, you are sitting with fans from both countries. 2) You have rowdy Indian/Pak fans and you have well behaved Indian/Pak fans....makes it fun! There was an Indian guy - drunk, he was constantly abusing Pak players...but these were a lot of Indian fan abusing him for abusing Pak players. There were a lot of Indian and Pak fans wearing both Pak/Indian flags. 3) You could go and talk to players/commentators/etc. 4) Ground was unbelievably small hence the view was GREAT! Reminded me of Bagh-e-Jinnah ground or Pindi Club Ground. I talked to Afridi and Saqlain fielding on fine leg boundary. I saw following these two matches; http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/1...19SEP1998.html http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/1...20SEP1998.html Afridi scored 100 in the first game with 6 sixes. At the end of 25th over, he had already scored @ 100 runs....and my friend said....."hey, at this rate, he can score 200+ today". Well, Afridi got out in next over. My family and friends saw me on TV in stands TWICE during the match.
