SA vs. Ireland

Got no clue what's going on, but SA is 64/5 against Ireland, how awesome would it be if SA got beat by Ireland, would deflate alot of those Saffie ego's

is this an indication that matches in this WC will be low scoring affairs? Eng and AL are also not firing as expected against these minnows.

SA is not good enough outside their own territory. I said that before and will say it again South Afrrica won't win the WC.

Any know at detail about the pitch they playing on?

Im currently watching the England V Bermuda match, Wicket looks a good one but the ball isn't comming onto the bat and as im speaking Pietersen is stumped. Day of upsets.

Spinners will be the key during this world cup.

Danish and Afridi AND Malik will blossom baby!

Looks like Imran Khan was right to say Danish IS the key! cud be our Wcup !!!

Saffer will say : its ONLY a warm up.. we dont NEED to win it.. we got our 3rd Team out

Irish will say: we got a baddd A$$ team to kikc every team back to their countries.. we're gonna win the cup

Objective fan will say: told u S.AFRICA are crap!

bit biast but still not doin well against a 1st time EVER minnow in the Cup.

Actually it would be better to comment after Ireland has also batted.

It will also be more interesting during Fridays game to see who can handle WI conditions better. Pakisatan or SA. May the best team win.

I will be interested in seeing Kaneria (spelling?) play in WC. I had a feeling he would go to WC (after watching him play in test series), but was disappointed he never played in the ODI series.

SA will suffer against spin. Always have, always will.

Are you sure you know anything about our local cricket? Hall is our ONLY decent death bowler who has the balls to bowl. When called into up into the team, he normally does play a good game.

This might be what we need before the more important games. A bit of a wake-up slap in the face to get us focused. Lets hope something good come out of it and they learn a lesson or two, heh heh.

Hall hardly bowls much in the first 20. His last decent innings was a 50 against India in an ODI. He only plays now and again tho. I would pick him before Langeveldt in ODI games.

Ireland have a good chance to win this game. This is a warning to Pakistan to not take them too easily.

huge trouble.....

Ireland will be unlucky to lose this..50 something runs in 12 overs with 6 wickets....

i hope the guys just shrug it off and think to themselves..."hopefully we got our bad luck out of the way"

and congrats to ireland....they out bowled and so far outbatted us....

It is a good indication of how vulnerable SouthAfrica are on foriegn pitches. I don't they will be as big a threat as they were first made to be coming into the worldcup.

I imagine the wicket is fairly slow with the ball not coming on to the bat which is not unusual for the Caribbean. The early start must have provided some help to the seamers, and that may prove to be a factor throughout the tournament. Win the toss and bowl!

Spot on. If the wickets dont offer seam and bounce, then count them out of the running. The wickets are allegedly due to get lower and slower as the tournament progresses.
