Did playing the Test matches before the ODIs help ?

Last year in Pak , we played the ODIs, lost in them and then did not have the staying power in the test matches.

This time we played the ODIs second.

Do you think the result of the series would have been different if we had followed the format of last years series?

Did playing 5 day cricket give us more time to settle and adjust to conditions ?

As for the original q, mig its a little difficult to ascertain. Over a period of time, we might be able to judge the results perhaps.

Its safer to suggest though that playind odis before the tests wouldnt have helped technique wise maybe but who knows what the effect of a win (assumption: 4-2) would have done
