It's all good fun - if Saffer wants to dish it out he should be able to take it as well. He's a good bloke (just as long as he shows up to take his medicine).

Our zoos and zoos around the world are full of imports from your jungle. Thanx again.

I'm glad SA got owned. Their fans provoked the dumb Afridi and the ban effected our world cup. Hersh exposed his trashy class. Nel accused Nazir to have verbally abused him and Smith said he's concerned about the 'Pakistani' crowd around the world.

Effiin illiterate bunch of chokers.

Yeah man, **** the saffies, I never admired them as a team. They are a bunch of pussies who pick and launch their verbals aggression on weak teams but turn up without balls against Australia. Graeme Smith does not deserve to be a captain who wins the world cup. Id rather see Australia play and win anyday because frankly they deserve to as their standards are extremely high and they praise opposition players who play well against them at the end of the day unlike the proteas.

I think you're being a bit sensitive mate - it's all friendly banter between opposing fans. Saffer's a big boy, he can take it - he's not exactly the shy and retiring type. One thing I know about South Africans is that they can dish it out bigtime, but they can also take it in good humour. Saffer was doing a lot of chirping earlier in the thread, he can take some chirps back afterwards. This is nothing compared to the sledging that goes on between Ozzie and Saffa fans in the rugby.

Rule #1 is if you want to sledge and talk your team up during the match, you have to be prepared to cop the crap that will come your way after the match. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut and don't troll beforehand, then everyone will be nice to you afterwards (like JustAnotherFan).

That one thing absolutely true for the Aussies and the Proteas .Even Aussie crowd also have no trouble praising the opposition .SA never appreciate the opposition .And not to mention abt their commentators .

saffer is a pakpassion legend.

He is a passionate South African guy (or gal, do we know?) who loves cricket. He/she madly supports his/her team and has a laugh on a good cricket forum with people from all over the world. I don't think he/she is being serious with his OTT predictions...he's/she's just having some fun. Some harmless banter.

It did backfire today in hilarious style though.

Hmm, best thing of all though. 1 day later. I can think of the past few months and compare SA and Pakistan cricket ...

Who made it to the WC SF ... SA or Pakistan? ****, Pakistan didn't even make it to the Super 8 after losing to Ireland.

Who won the last test series between SA and Pakistan? SA.

Who won the last 20/20 game between SA and Pakistan? Let me see. SA won by 10 wickets.

Who won the last ODI series between SA and Pakistan? SA won the series 3-1 with the last 2 games wins by 10 wickets and 9 wickets.

So as a SA fan, I'll take the choking tag anyday, but Pakistan fans must look carefully at their own team. Before you dish out insults, maybe remember Pakistan cricket is not a team to be proud of at the moment.

I can be proud of SA cricket and look forward to when SA and Pakistan play against each other again.

Let me just apologise to the moderators for saying what I said in the messages that were removed. Didn't mean anything personal, however I wish moderators would keep up to standard and remove other messages as well. There is a lot of hate speech in this place.

Cricket is just a sport and far from being an aggro one, but some fans take it too serious.

I was gonna say "I hope he didn't go to a lion park", but that is a bad joke in SA at the moment. An owner of a lion park had a stroke and his lions ate half of the body.

well let me correct you. YES you did mean something personal. and NO, what you said comes nowhere CLOSE to what has been said in this thread, even though I have objected to it previously.

three is a huge difference between friendly banter and the crap you spat out. try to get that.

saffer boasted too much...just like those biased south african commentators.

now their trap will remain shut until 2011 world cup because they have a lot of words to eat and a lot of blaming/ complaining to do.

I WANNA BE A JOKE SOUTH AFRICA WAS WRITTEN OFF SINCE THE LAST WORLD CUP

why is saffer getting all this attention? the guy is a coward who only comes on when his team is winning. he doesnt deserve all this publicity. i say we close this forum as saffer is a joke and we should not waste our time waiting for him to come back. This website is all about talking about the highs and lows of your team and not just show up when your winning and run away when losing. Saffer should R.I>P as should this thread.
