Video Capture Help

I have recently bought a Video Capture card ( Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe) in order to transfer my cricket videos onto CD/DVD.

The Software supplied with the card doesn't have many features, can anyone recommend something that will allow me to clean up/sharpen the Captured Mpeg2 files and encode them into DIVX. (

well I have found a few Packages like VirtualDub and Dr DivX but they cant seem to Capture from my Card.

thnx for the link Oxy, the Don seems to be favouring software called Showshiffter...I hope its not a bits n pieces jobby and its a true Specialist
