Hattrick Thread

Hattrick site

It's a football version of Battrick (well it was invented before battrick I think)

I just signed up for it in the England Yorkshire league, decided against a Pakistan league because I want to be able to watch my matches this time.

So does anyone play it already or is anyone signing up?

no idea - waiting for them to accept me.

they say it takes a week though so you should just put your name down anyway.

oh and you can scope the forums on it anyway on it without having a team and just waiting for one - seems pretty complicated. you get youth pulls and youth academys. you have some type of challenges to do before you get to change formations and stuff.

got a lot to find out when i get a team

If you like Battrick, Hattrick is definately worth playing as well, I've been there about 15 seasons now. Unlike Battrick you must sign up to play in the country you're living in though, they'll check IP addresses and ban you team if you, for instance, sign up to play in Pakistan but you're living in England.

The Club Directors have now had their board meeting and accepted that you are
taking charge of the club. Already, the squad seems energized and your
supporters have started dreaming about a successful future for the team.

I got some advice for hasbeen and iz when they sign up.

First thing you should do is complete all those easy challenges cos they give you money. With that money you should buy a coach with poor leadershi but passible coaching skills. Will set you back about 53k.

Then you should see who in your teams best for outfield job and put em in your team and you'll find that you have no keepers, you should buy 2 of those from the market and then with any left overs maybe buy a couple of squad players to strengthen the team.

In the 49th minute of the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Jan-Melis Selle dashed through, knocking home 6 - 0 for Losing. That made three goals for Jan-Melis Selle and he was marked down for the hat trick.

Make that six!

sohrabslegends's Andrew Train's long shot really ought to have found the net in the 68th minute, but it fell just wide of the target.

FU*K 7-0 down. atleast the other guy in relegation battle is losing, but he'll have a really better Goal difference than me.

I play him in a few matches time and hopefuly the gap between me and he will stil be 3 points

Losing solidified their lead at the 89 minute mark, as Mehmet Kubilay Korucu manoeuvered the ball through the opponents central defence and finished for 10 - 0.

How long does it take you to get your team? I just validated my email and it says I'm on a waiting list. Battrick is so much simpler. You just register then you have a team.

yeah it takes longer on this. It took hasbeen longer than me I think. It depends on how many users there are in your region, if there are a few sapre team in the region you registered for then you should get yours fairly quick.

I reckon there will be. There wouldn't be many people who would play HT who are from Aus.
One problem I had was when I tried to choose "Australia (Oceania)" it wouldnt let me. So I had to choose "Oceania (Oceania)". :S

I already got a friendly for today so I'll play you next week.

whatever you do, dont make a youth academy. Itl get you bankrupt.

And do all those challenges - quick way to get some money.

Go buy 2 goalies cos it's rare for a new team to get good goalies.

Fire your current coach and get one with passable training skills and crap leadership skills

I'm guessing that Hattrick is harder than Battrick?

my game starting in just over 10 minutes. I hope the boys can limit to a 5-0 loss and not a 10-0. I've changed tactics and I just bought a 18 year old playmaker today so he should fit in well and hopefully score one on his debut

yeah it is. It's pretty boring.

atleast i'm only 1 down at halftime and not 5 like last time. But i'veo nly had 30% possession so far so I doubt I'd get a goal

4-5-1.

na it's good tacitcs, because I'm training play making so hopefully my players should get the most out of this formation, and I told em to attack through the middle as well to utilise the extra man
