Aussie Soaps / Dramas

What do you guys think of them? I know that they show Home & Away and Neighbours in the UK. But do they show them in any other countries?
I don't like neighbours or Home and Away (I like HAA better). But I've gotten used to HAA because I have to sit and watch it every single night!. Mum loves it. She's been watching it for the 20+ years that it's been on tv.

The last time i followed Neighbours was in the early 90's. Scot & Charline were couple, Mrs Mangle was the nosy neighbour, Helen the old hag just would not die, Joe Mangle's wife was shot dead and Harold jumped in the sea only to come back a few years later from the dead.

I dont think I've actually watched a whole episode of Home and Away. I used to stay at my Khala's place and they would watch Neighbours so because of that I'll watch it when Im there and have nothing better to do (which is most of the time) and some times when Im at home when its on. Some of the stuff is pretty weird, but it can be fairly watchable too.

haha - its nowt like that . . . honest.

Nah seriously i just watch it cos i think its a quality show - fairly light hearted and its not all doom and gloom like the english soaps (tho the last couple of days have been since Stingray died)

BUT having said that the Italian certainly makes it easy to watch

Absolute rubbish, that stuff. Last time I watched it was when I was about your age mate, in the late 80s.

Not going to reveal anything important, but its not like anything that big happens anyway. And if something big happens like that plane crash which killed Serena, Liljana and Harold's son (forgot his name), I actually ended up finding out through people in England!
