The job for coaching the Pak national team stands between 5 foreign coaches. The favourite for the post is Lancashires Tim Boon. According to well informed sources in the PCB, the comittee consisting of Zakir Khan, Mudassar Nazar and Imtiaz Ahmed have shortlisted 5 candidates out of 15. Nasim Ashraf will make an important announcement regarding this issue on Monday in Islamabad. According to the sources, the PCB has decided on appointing a foreign coach although there are no well known names among the shortlist of possible coaches. Talking to Jang on Saturday, Amir Bilal a member of the PCB confirmed that the PCB is looking at the application of the 5 foreign coaches shortlisted by the commitee. On 16th June, the AdHoc commitee of the PCB will make an important decision on this issue. Amir Bilal said that the PCB wants to introduce a new coaching culture and that they were looking for a new coach with the future of Pakistan team in mind.

So anybody know who the other 4 coaches other than Tim Boon? I'm assuming it wont include Moody/Whatmore. So who is left from the foreign coaches seeking alternative employment?

John Wright may be one. Still leaves 3 more???

Did I read that correctly? PCB have decided to have a foreign coach? Didn't they take the decision to NOT have a foreign coach not too long ago?

I guess no one beside Tim Boon, that is worth mentioning, has applied for the position; therefore, the chances of bringing in Boon as a coach seems very high.
