he is apparently lazy and didn't keep in shape. Maybe he had given up. PCB got his action cleared and then he bowled couple of overs in South Africa and got injured

HE wasn't that impressive when given chance in SA. To add to that he doesn't have many years of playing left in him. He's quite old. They're looking for someone younger as shoaib will also have to leave in a few years.

he grew a beard and then disappeared .. seems to be the trend with many of our players ( aside from moyo).

I really liked Shabbir Ahmed before he got his action all lost... He had got the speed and had the bounce, line and leght to trouble any good batsman.. I think he could have been something if he had the right guidance and worked abit hitter,, He had bowled some awesome off cutter and leg cutter... I really think he still has something left in him... But there is a huge amount of talent in Pakistan so the best think is play him instead of razzaq in test match,, He can do the horse job... bowling off stump line the whole day and at the other end we can attack with bowlers like Shoaib, Sami, gul, Asif, danish, najaf or who ever play... I think he is the best line and leght bowler in PAkistan when bowling the off stump line.. nobody cares to play him at the off stump because u as a batsman never knows what amount of bounce shabbir will produce, so often batsman take the easer option by just playing a maiden or scoring 2 or 3 runs of him..I think Pakistan should utilize Shabbir at the best way..

PLay him instead of Razzaq

In the last test match he played against England he only bowled one chuck delievery, and still was very good.,, He can still do better than razzaq,, talking the odd wicket or just bowling the of stump line..

i would love to get rid of Razzaq from the team but his remodel action is pretty ineffective hence he hasn't got selected much.

If he did chuck then there is no place for him in international cricket especially, and he is too old to correct his action now and return

Once again you deliver a cheapshot at a player who has been cleared twice by the ICC Typical Indians, moaning about something or the other

Since injury Shabbir has not been the same. He has gone back to his old habits of chucking and I don't think its worth it to invest in him now that he is 30 (IIRC)
