Yuvraj Singh - 50* off 12 balls / 6 SIXES in an Over [Video]

Yuvraj has just hit 6s 6s in a row off Stuart Broad and brough up his 50 off just 12 balls! That is stunning batting. My jaw drops as i saw every one of those balls sail over the rope.

yuvraj hits 6 6s in one over and the fastest 50 in 12 balls

18.6 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX
Broad looks quizzical ... and miserable. Can he ... can Yuvraj do it ...
18.5 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, down on one knee and larruped over midwicket, that one was more nine iron, it went into the night sky and dropped with a thud in the jubilant crowd ...
England have a team meeting. Shuffling deckchairs on the Jolly Roger though ...
18.4 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, Shiver me timbers!: Broad goes round the wicket, bowls a filthy wide full toss and Yuvraj steers it over backward point and it clears the rope again
18.3 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, he's hitting them everywhere, he steps to leg and smashes the ball over extra cover and it keeps on travelling ... the fireworks start on top of the scoreboard ... they've been going off in the middle for some time
18.2 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, now that really is sweet, no more than a dismissive flick off his legs, swatting a fly, and the ball arcs deep into the crowd beyond backward square leg
The dodgy TV measurement says that's 111 yards ... but as it landed outside the ground how the whatsists do they know? They guess, that's how.
18.1 Broad to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, that's out the ground, super shot over cow corner and it just kept going up

he has gone ballistic!!

Great hitting.

Flintoff, bloody loser. Cost England the match against South Africa with his slow batting and prides himself for his strong hitting. He hasnt done anything of notice this tournament and he had the audacity to launch a verbal tirade against Yuvraj one of the best hitters in the world. I am glad the bowler was broad, he was getting a bit too proud of himself, he just like his father arrogant and cocky, he will never forget this for the rest of his life, i just loved his face at the end of it. If i was a pakistani bowler, i would be shitting in my pants should Yuvraj Singh come onto bat.

Yeah they had a big arguement and Yvuraj just lost his cool and charged at him with the bat and Dhoni had to step in, Flintoff running fast backwards lol

A good player, but needs to keep his mouth shut, the way Flintoff backed off when Yuvraj charged at him and his face right at the end: .

Saw it, didn't think that much of it. Good, intelligent hitting, yes...but:

'Tis the nature of the game. Shame to see bowlers being reduced to bowling machines, but that's Twenty20. Stuart Broad will hopefully take it as it is - a reality, and forget about it, before concentrating on real cricket. I'm not saying that because I dislike ODIs or Twenty20s, because I'm furious that England are so pathetic at both.

However, the reason there aren't many good bowlers about is because pitches are too flat and the workload is too much. Getting wickets is only possibly if you're a top, top bowler.

The best matches in this and the ODI World Cup were low-scoring. How about we have some good pitches, for the bowlers that is? England would still lose, but it wouldn't feel so mechanical then.

Amazing hitting by Yuvraj, can't believe he hammered Broad for 6 in a row. Yuvraj is one of my favourite players in the Indian team and I am glad it was him. And it seems there was some side plot to the whole thing and I am really curious now, but I am sure I will see repeats of the match every day on CricketPlus from this day forward

Livid green and red with sheer, extreme, unconcealed, animal envy. His mind at the moment will be saturated with a psychotic craving to detonate the ball so ferociously it undergoes nuclear fission. His pathological thoughts would fester so much that he'll convince himself he'll get a 2-ball 50. Put it this way, I wouldn't want to take a flight around the Cape Town area tomorrow.

I saw it. It was just barbaric stroke play.. after he hit the 3rd 6, everyone knew he was going to obliterate every ball of the over.

Glad Stuart Broad got smashed.

Just a shame it had to be an Indian.....but well done Yuvraj anyway. I have seen it now and it was beastly hitting for sure. That one over was the difference between us and India today.

very hard on young stuart broad. he just wasnt mixing it up enough... trying to york yuvraj delivery after delivery and he got it wrong six times. no slower balls, no bouncers ... i wonder what crap advice collingwood was giving him after every delivery ?
probably giving him the address of some strip clubs to lift his mood after the game

It can happen to anyone. Today Broad tomorrow Asif. Yuvraj would have done it to anyone. He is a seriously good player.

Broad isn't fit to lick Asif's feet clean.

England captain Paul Collingwood said Broad would have to live with the tag of being the first bowler to be hit for six sixes in T20. "The format of the game is such that it was waiting to happen and one bowler would go for six sixes in an over sooner than later," he said. "Unfortunately, it was Stuart. It is up to us, the team-mates, to stand by him. He is a fine talent."

Poor guy will be taunted everytime. hehehe

Must admit, for the first time I was impressed with an Indian batsman (apart from Azharuddin and Kaif). It was almost at will...

Broad was a bit of an idiot tho 5 half-volleys and a full toss is asking for it at the death of an innings. However, the batsman's gotta put it away and yuvraj certainly did and in style....take a bow...

That was amazing hitting. I will give credit where credit is due! As soon as the third six was hit, I knew the record was gonna be set. One of those gut feelings. This is one of those innings you will remember as it is officially quickest 50 in all forms of international cricket.

So people some of us are lucky enough to have seen Gibbs and Yuvraj achieve the 6x6!
