Just as a comparson, Canada has a population of 33 million and are ranked 11 by GDP - just to show that we need to improve this immediatly. Had Pakistan pursued the policies of Ayub Khan in the 60s, the time when Pakistan was part of the 4 Asian Tigers, today we would have been on par or even ahead of South Korea, who used to come to Pakistan for economic advices.

our poverty rate is less than 30%, don't know where you got the 45% figure from.

edit- ic, maybe you are talking about Bangladesh. if so, stand corrected.

I was talking about Bangladesh, which has a poverty of ~45%. Another example is India -> 3rd largest economy in terms of PPP, yet has a poverty of over 70%.

Really!!!! They dont tell the world about that, just the call centres.... This gov in Pakistan has done well, people dont see and will lead to destroying the country again. We can be in top10 by 2020 as the gov said.

Amazing! Within our life-time we will see the era when there'll be little Pharoah's rolling around in their expensive cars and there'll be people dying of hunger on the road-side. This must be the most disgusting economic system world has ever seen.
