Sports Corner.....Try it out ...

Guys - new things always take time to grow on you - remember what people said about TimePass etc ...

Try it out and make it part of your routine to check up on Sports Corner - some very interesting things in there including a poll ...

Its there and we are using it - if you dont want to use it, thats fine - I can only ask.

If we had a poll for every decision we take at PP - ( and we take about 10 every week ) - PP would have been sitting on SN !

So pls give us some credit for planning ahead and not letting PP drift.

We will watch it for a few weeks and make up our minds - in the meantime, Merc may organize a poll or something.

Thanks Karachiite - my post above is not a lecture - just a request.

I was thinking of either :

1. One Sports question for the day
2. Many questions for the week

Ofcourse, all should be based on whats been posted on the Sports Corner...

Waquas is already looking at it maybe you can ask him as well.

I've said it so many times im gonna start sounding like a broken record - i am dead against this new move.

Im not against it for the sake of it - i genuinely feel there is no need for it.
I would understand if Time Pass was getting heavily swamped with sports posts BUT that wasnt the case, there were a good variety of posts AND threads for the current iirc never went on the next page. i cannot see a good enough reason for moving it.

Why is it that you think just because some ppl are against this move that it means we are discrediting the work the mods are putting in???
I have said it before i think the mods have done a wonderful job and cos i diagree with this doesnt mean i disagree with everything you do.

If most ppl decide they like this new format via the poll then i will not mention my disagreement with this idea. let the ppl decide in a few weeks and that'll be that!

Looks like a gangsta revolt here !!!

We had the same noises when we went from Main Cricket to TimePass = its just a matter of knowing what your interest is.

It will also discourage people who just post for the sake of it - only serious sports minded types can go to the sports corner as they are genuinely interested....

Good points Geordie, however I think that the new changes have made the forum look a lot more organized...Before it was a little to chaotic.....Some people are against change because they develop level of comfort and don't want to change, but that's the fact of life - always changing to evolve and be a better board that serves their members more efficiently......

You and the mods are doing a wonderful job, and I can say from experience that I've been part of other message boards and pakpassion is by far the most enjoyable and interesting to be a part of.....I wouldn't put too much stock into a couple of naysayers who hate change just because they were comfortable in their little cocoon.......I think the changes you and the fellow mods have made pakpassion much more organized and enticing to visit and less choatic.....Wonderful job, and keep evolving Miggy... > >

I honestly do believe its a good set up, neater and more organised and will grow on people.
