i selected five option(its a voting thread)

1.Patnership by Younas aand Misbah

2.century of Younas khan

3.quick runs by Shahid Afridi

4.Wicket of tendulkar and Yuvraj

5.Good bowling from pakistani bowlers at the end.

i thought salman butt's innings was instrumental...he didnt make a lot
but was sort of dominating when younis kahn came in...
yk was happy to give him strike and he was dictating terms at one t ime...
which allowed yk to settle in...if it wasnt for that yk might have gotten out due to pressure

i think the main cause of pakistans victory in the 2nd odi......was the fact that pakistan ultimately scored more runs than india!!!

just proves if a opener sticks around for awhile, how well the team can do.

misbah and younus didnt panick when the rr was getting difficult, rarely played risky shots. Just goes to show that if you have wickets at the end its possible.

The way Younis Khan paced his innings. Well supported by Shoaib Akhtar, Gul, Butt and Misbah.

Only two...

1) Our bowling did very well to pull India back from a great start they got from Sachin and Gambhir.

2) The approach Butt, Younis and Misbah took to the chase. 322 is only the 9th highest total chased to win an ODI in a total of 2644 matches!

Don't forget Tanvir's bowling...gettin rid of Yuvraj and then Uthappa- especially getting the ball to straighten from around the wicket! Also, Tanvir's batting!

Those 2 balls to Uthppha were great! Coming from around the wicket he made the ball go away from the right hander- almost unplayable.

Simple reason. Team Effort and every one clicked at the right time. Salman Butt played brave and positive cricket and went for proper cricketing strokes early in the innings. Younis Khan and Misbah batted sensibily. Afridi used his head and checked his stroke play in the end. Shoaib Akhtar, Gul, Tanvir bowled very well towards the end (turning points of the match for me). Rao is the only worrying aspect, i feel he wont be good enough in this series, he is a one dimensional bowler, i havent seen him try any variations in this series.

yk with his brilliant and match-winning 100 and Gul with his two wicket burst in the middle of the innings were the two most significant factors for me.

There were two main turning points in the game.

The first was Gul's double strike which totally changed the complexion of the Indian innings, they went from looking at 350+ to 321.

The second was Misbah's 13 over partnership with Younis where they scored 102 runs in 82 balls at a RR of 7.6 which kept Pakistan in the chase till the the last 5 overs!

I think the turning point of the game was Tendulkar's dismissal. At that time, India were 178-1 in the 26th over (7 rpo), and a total of 360-380 looked to be on the cards.

Looking at the body language of the Pakistani players, they seemed mentally to have given up.

And then came tendulkar's dismissal ... and began a decline that saw India lost 7 wickets over the next 99 runs. (Reminds one of Pakistan!!!)

The game-winning factor was how Pakistan was able to contain the runrate, while taking regular wickets. Everyone chipped in.

The last 3 overs, however, when we conceded 35-odd runs to Bhajji ... that was ridiculous, almost costing us the game. It's incredible that Shoaib Akhtar conceded 7 runs off his last four overs (mostly bowling with a shortened runup), while Rao Iftikhar gave away ~25 off his last 2.
