Malik was disappointing

Thats true. He just a pathetic captain that no one was to listen to.

He really needs to lift his game up!!!!

I seriously think he cant seem to think when the Indian batsman took the attack to the bowlers.

I'm not only worried about Malik, but also the bowlers. I mean how come there weren't too many extras in the game?

The simply answer is, Pakistani bowlers knew that this was a do or die match and couldn't afford to bowl too many extras.

Now compare the extras in the previous games? 30-40 extras in an ODI game is suicidal. The only logical reason to that i can think of is, " They simply didn't give a crap"

I'm sorry to break this to you guys, but Pakistan's cricket future looks very bleak, and the PCB has to stand up and do something about it.

* end rant *

Pakistan seems to have declined these past few years. Lack of consistency. Also Afridi aside, and occasionally Younis, the batting seems to lack offensive flair.

Every player in the Pakistan side, except for Afridi is defensive. Every player in the Australian side is attackive. I think that says enough. Pakistan haven't been able to put 1 and 1 together for a long time now. Afridi needs to be captain. Malik is the same as Inzy and i have said it one hundred times, will bring no success. People say Afridi is stupid and irrational, im sure he is, but you have to ask yourself.

With Afridi as captain can it get worse than it is now? (loosing every series)

AussieCricket is spot on! You can't get any worse than this (Malik).

AussieCricketer: The problem is here people can't think out of the box. Some fans feel their favorite player is being attacked when they Should be looking at what Pakistan needs. Peoples should look at wider picture.

Malik seems like a rambling child that doesnt have the 1st clue to captaincy! He has no drive, he doesnt seem to be able to gee up the players or lead from the front.

His excuses have been obvious and pretty lame to say the least. If results dont change after Aussies series and Asia cup he should step down and save face if he has any left at that point!
