Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and my family and I are going to New Jersey. We won't be staying there for the night because my dad and I have to see the test match.

Are anyone of you going on a trip on Thanksgiving?

Not going anywhere this year. Last 2 years we went to Michigan where my sister lives. It was snowing on the drive there last year and was a tough drive. This year I am staying at home. Where r u going in Jersey? I will be probably going to cousins in Long Island but that is about it.

Anyone have plans for black friday?

Stay away from my Circuit City, I am getting that killer TV! Bright and early is too late, last year Best Buy had well formed lines at 9 PM.

Last year, I went to my uncle's house and spent a week there and 2 extra days because I couldn't enter onto my flight. They said that is was too late to enter. So I spent 2 extra days looking for a flight back home.

Does anyone know what GPS system is the best, and how much I should be paying for it? Does it typically go on sale on Black Friday?

I thought Thanksgiving had some historical significance involving Indians and the pioneers, now I see that this is the time to buy new iPod and other stuff. How wrong I was. Do they celebrate The Trail of Tears as well?

I would still say that thanksgiving is still the most honored tradition in this country. It hasn't been driven down into consumerism like the other holidays. Holidays like Presidents day is just for shopping sales. Thanksgiving is the biggest traveling day of the year as people go to meet their families. It is strongly followed and people use it as a time for being with family and saying their thanks.

The day after though, is that start of the Christmas shopping season and this is when stores start making their money.

Oh yeahhh.....I do have a list of things which I want to buy and deals too.

If you want to multiple things,, best place to head will be nearest Target or Walmart.

If you have electronics in mind....check out the deals for cyber monday.
