Sami will get 5 wickets in first innings or 8 wickets in this match

I know I am risking my neck.
But he bowled more potentially wicket taking deliveries than other bowlers. He did not have luck. just before Yuvi was dismissed, he played a lemon cut. he was not comfortable facing Sami. he was hurrying the batsmen and was also bending his back for steep bounce.

I reckon he will get Dinesh Karthik LBW before Arafat gets him caught behind tomorrow morning first up.

Pathan and Kumble will take some time to get rid of, but Ganguly fancies himself when he plays with the tail,so Sami will get him on the pull or hook.

If Ganguly is gone as 7th wickets, then surely Sami can get his 5 wicket haul in an innings after so many tests.

in case Arafat or a rejuvenated Akthar get more wickets or Danish polishes arrogant Harbie and novice Ishant, then Sami will do well in the second innings and end up with 8 wickets in the match.

It is up to the other bowlers and the batsmen to press home the advantage and push India all the way.Pak has nothing to lose, India is under pressure.
Pak can score 360+ in a day on this pitch on 5th day chasing the target.

Sami needs more support from PP fans too, he will hit high 80's- around 87 mile's tomorrow.

I am with you Rajan but he will get 9 wickets with 6 wickets coming in 2nd innings. He has too much of sportsmanship in him and he is a khulay dil ka aadmi plus the match is not setup perfectly yet

Sami is hardworking & a fighter. He plays for the team.
I always feel sorry for him when he fails pick up the wickets he deserves.
He is a much better bowler when he bowls attacking spells at good Pace.
I really hope he can turn things around in this test otherwise I fear this may be the last time we see him.

Finally I can't believe they only went in with 4 bowlers-Tanvir should have also played with Arafat playing as a allrounder occupying the no'7 batting position.

Yet again Sami's bowling action and technical flaws in his action were highlighted by Aamir Sohail and Bruce Yardley. Man when are the management, team think tank ever going to realize that Sami's major problem has been the fact that his run up, release, head position, wrist position and lack of strength have resulted in his decline as a bowler. Bruce Yardley pointed this out, Aamir Sohail has been mentioning this all along, so have i for the past 3 years. It is just inexcusable, none of it has ever been pointed out or identified by the team management nor has sami bothered to work on it.

We clearly need a bowling coach but then *** is Lawson doing. Him beeing a fast bowler it is his job to identify all these flaws and to improve on them. I cant believe Waqar Younis was never able to see these flaws either. This is why Pakistani cricketers are far behind as compared to the rest of the world Lack of efficient, competent coaches. Cricket has become a technical game and unless we address our technical deficiencies we will continue to be where we are while the rest of the world will move on.

Sami can get his pace back, if he addresses all this technical weaknesses in his bowling.

(I will keep on repeating myself again and again and again unless someone can send this message to Imran Khan or somehigher up in the PCB)

iv been a great fan of sami over the years but there comes a time when your patience wears out. He needs a bowling coach or be sent to specialist bowling camp to sort out his confidence, action, swing and general bowling but an i must say but he has immense potential but we've only seen 20% of it

Man i would do anything to get this message across to the ****ed up PCB. He has just been ignored and been allowed to play with all these problems. He looks like the sort of guy who needs individual attention. He has so much talent but has just underachieved. He needs his pace back there is no question about it, without it he is totally ineffective. Even when he didnt have the speed during the early part of his career, he still had the ability to move, seam and swing the ball. Even that is gone and he has basically been a straight bowler ever since.

Sami's case clearly shows that Pakistan Cricket has inadequate technical specialists and Bio Mechanics, people who genuinely understand the game.

If Sami can take 8 wickets in the match, Indian batting should hang their head in shame irrespective of results..

And BTW Rajan,
Akhtar can not bowl tomorrow till an hr after lunch becauze of his absense yesterday ..

but anyway, if we go by your optimism for India defeats, I am sure Indians can lose the match in last session after Pakistan even follows on and when Indians will have to encounter Sami's pace, Akhtar's ferocity, Kaneria's magic delivery and Arafat's offcutters chasing just 36.. not to forget Y Khan sensatinal field settings.. Indians must be really scared.. a wounded Shoaib will be so dangerous!!!!

I watched India's painful collapse from a potentially match winning, but certainly a great position of drawing match comfortably at lunch on the last day of Bangalore test in the last series against visiting pakistan.

the famed middle order just could not with stand pressure from a Akthar less attack because they were plaqued by self doubts and defensive mentality.the chance to win the series evaporate, bitterly.

I had watched a bad collapse from a comfortable position after first day,in MCG and the south african test, both costing us the tests and we could not convert the 1-0 lead to win the series.

in delhi , at 110- 1 in second innings, pak were in with a good chance to win.but with the indifferent performances of the top order in the first 2 tests as well as due to the injury problems, especially Shoaib's inability to put up 6-8 decent 150k spells in the tests, they suffered huge setback.

pressure can really break even good batsmen.i dont want another collapse after pak runs up 600+ in first innings in double quick time.

much stranger things have happened over a series, than Sami picking up 8 wickets in bangalore.he just needs guidance and a bit of luck.
