asier del horno to chelsea - medical soon to take place. He is a left back at bilbao - young, a few years ago he was slated as being average but last couple of years has stepped up! - fee likely to be £16m

master p, i agree with the principle, but in realty all the fa can do is introduce a wage cap. i dont think its legally possible under EU laws to put a limit on trade (which is wat trasfers are)

Barcelona have secured a deal for Athletic Bilbao star Santiago Ezquerro.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at San Mames this summer and he has shunned all offers of new terms from Bilbao.
He is now understood to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Barca, who will complete his signing in June.
Ezquerro is the second player to seal a Bosman deal with Barca this month, after Dutch ace Mark van Bommel agreed his move from PSV Eindhoven last week.

that is the backup in attack sorted - now all that is needed is a left back and the squad is in place - just a solid left back - maybe some real money spent here as henry is unlikely now
