If you had chosen other sports what would you have preferred

For me, in athletics, possibly the pole vault and javellin throw.

Since I can throw a cricket ball harder and faster than anyone I have ever met, I have often wondered whether I could throw the javellin as well. Zlezny has been a great favourite of mine over the years, unlike the porked up pingers who have been in his shadow.

As well, pole valuting is exciting because it combines athleticm, power, balance and skill. Bubka was a revelation in his hey day.

Long Jumping, loved it in my early days, one of the only guys at the competition who could paddle in the air, what a beautiful feeling that is to be in the air for a brief moment in time, to leap from your point and stay there while you can and land into th the sand, knowing life has a different perspective in the air

hockey probably. Played it a bit when I was a kid.....very enjoyable.

I hate all the American sports (baseball, basketball, thick man's rugby etc).

Basketball for sure. In fact, I still follow it (not as much as before)...and at one point I (and some of my Pakistani friends) got so good that we were routinely competing with ***** (Blacks) in our area...even beating them at times! (and all of us except one were short in height for basketball)

I even have a basketball trademark shot...drive into the paint, then the stop-hesitate-fadeaway jumper! And the three-pointer out of the corner too It is still my biggest (athletic) achievement to master these shots (because I'm not too tall, normal height)! I tell you, it took many many hours of shooting the ball through the hoop.....those were the days
