Just be cool about it and don't act shifty. If you do that he'll get away with it B)

Mike Holding commented on it on TV and said the following:

1. People doubt it when seen on slow mo.
2. Mikes view is that its as clean a delivery as any other bowler in the game
3. People who question how he can throw a ball that fast need to understand that this guy is VERY strong ( his batting where even mis hits go for 6 are an example of his "brute" strength )

If Mike Holding says that - well I am happy with it

His quicker one that he bowls seam up is definitely clean. Even holding confirmed that. His quicker offie looks a bit suspect.

Im so sick of this, the old days, the days of the GREATS, there was only a select few who had a very clean action.

Garners was suspect(like Shabbirs) and even the pacers with "clean" actions prob had some deliveries that were illegal by the ICCs rules 2day i.e the 15 degrees rule.

Fact is, theres more monitoring due 2 the advancement in technology which has led 2 more surveillance these days. And bowlers being scrutinised has led 2 batsmens averages rocketing in recent times.

I think they shud lay off the present bowlers and preserve the "rules" for the cricketers in the future whose actions can b refined at an early age.

If Holding of all cricket experts, as he is known to be a long-standing albeit now quietened critic of Afridi, is saying the bowling action is fine, it has to be fine!

Pakistan did that with Shoaib Malik in India but the slow mo replays are excellent - they show Malik straightening his arm at point of delivery ( to the point that it looked to me that it would come off the elbow !!)
