Jose Mourinho has been in talks with Internazionale about a return to management, according to his personal advisor Eladio Parames. The Portuguese has been out of the game since leaving Chelsea last September after his relationship with the Premier League club's board broke down. It has been reported that Mourinho has been in Italy on Friday in order to engage in discussions with Serie A champions Inter about becoming their coach next season. "Jose has left for Milan for talks with Inter's directors," Parames told Reuters. Current incumbent Roberto Mancini's future at Inter has been the subject of intense speculation ever since his announcement that he would step-down from his role at the end of the season, following his side's UEFA Champions League elimination at the hands of Liverpool earlier this season. He retracted his statement the following day but it would now appear his unexpected announcement may have sealed his fate. Having made no secret of his desire to manage in Italy or Spain upon leaving Chelsea, it would come as little surprise if Mourinho were to take the reins at Inter. Mourinho's hugely successful spell with Chelsea saw him deliver two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup.

I want Barca to get him so would be dissapointed if he joined Inter BUT I can see him enjoying the Italian League - the style of play he employed at Chelsea would be perfect for Serie A

Jose Mourinho has denied holding talks with Inter Milan over becoming the Serie A leaders' coach next season. The former Chelsea boss, 44, issued a statement contradicting his own spokesman, who said he had met Inter president Massimo Moratti for talks. "I say categorically it is not true that I went to Milan, that I met with Massimo Moratti," said Mourinho. "It is just false to say that I am on the point of signing a contract with Inter Milan." Mourinho was responding to comments made by his personal advisor, Eladio Parames, who claimed the Portuguese and his agent had travelled to Milan. "It's true they are in Italy and will return to Lisbon on Saturday," Parames said on Friday. "Of course, it was Inter who contacted Mourinho and his agent, not Mourinho contacting them. "He (Mourinho) has always showed interest in working in Italy, and he received the contact with pleasure." Inter coach Roberto Mancini, whose contract runs until 2012, announced on 11 March he would be stepping down from the job he has held for four years after his side were knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool. However, the 43-year-old quickly backtracked and stated his desire to stay the following day. Mourinho, who lifted the Champions League with Porto before guiding Chelsea to two Premiership titles and an FA Cup, has been linked with a host of European clubs since he left Chelsea in September last year. Inter have won the last two Serie A titles and this season are four points clear with eight games left to play.

Very true

I do want him to join Barca BUT Jose imo is the kind of guy that is really suited to the Premiership. In La Liga and Serie A there is way too much interferance at the top level and Im sure thats something that Mourinho wont appreciate. He is very much his own man and he wants full control

Tho you could argue that even the Premiership is heading that way and we are seeing a European style of management take place
