What would you say is a good score on the Bridgetown pitch?

350 looks a pretty decent score on this pitch

yes, why exactly is 345 a pretty decent score RH?

Looked a beauty to bat on when I was watching earlier. Unless it dramatically changed since lunch?

I think Pakistan can be fairly happy with todays effort.

Its a flat track and to bowl the opposition out is satisfactory. The bowling looked a little flat though especially Danish and a couple of catches dropped.

345 is no great feat on that track in my opinion.

Barbados is a good wicket. We have batted badly simple as that. 345 no more than par. 120 /7 probably around 300 runs below par for a team batting second!

Have you seen any devils in the pitch?

Which game are you referring to? Didn't SA get 500 here earlier, and didn't the Aussies get 600 here a couple of years ago. It has always had the reputation of being a good fast bouncy wicket.

Yep but Windies are poor. You have to remember that. In my experience Barbados is a true, hard, fast and bouncy pitch. It tends to help the bowlers early on and in the mornings. Otherwise it settles down to become a good strokeplayers wicket. Also it doesn't crumble much either so it isn't a minefield in the 4th inns.

Incidentally I think it is a very good Test match pitch. Faciiltates fast scoring because the ball comes onto the bat, gives good fast bowling some reward and will offer the spinners something later on.

Whilst this wicket facilitates fast scoring as ggm says, it does not however mean that batsmen should give thier wickets away with a lack of thought and application.

I said yesterday that Pakistan should look to bat for 2 days, instead they didnt even bat for 2 sessions.
