CricSim: Pakistan Premier League(PPL) : Information

I got this idea from IPL . There isn't any Premier league for Pakistan but now it is there by the Legend.
Rules are just simple and like IPL:
There will be 6 Team . Each team will be given to the user on the basis of their request and the Runs he has scored(Posts). After this we will have a sign-up thread in which those who are willing to play PPL can join and than they will be selected by the Team owners. There will be no bidding. If you will post first and you have runs more than the other user who is willing to own the same team than the user having more runs will have the team.
Teams are:Lahore Mughals
Karanchi Champions
Rawalpindi Blasters
Punjab Panthers
Peshawar Monsters

Team names can be changed by the owners later.
The first team is Lahore Mughals
You can start requesting for this team.

PPL Sign-Ups Open

One more thing i want to add that please don't PM me and ask for the team. Co-owners should not be more than 2

I suggest you enter a team called Peshawar Panthers.

Edit, Also, you should have started this off in the cricket forum to get more exposure as not everyone ventures down here

How long does the requesting period last?

24 hours for each team or is it just whenever someone comes in and asks for a team?

See the requesting period will last until the team will be owned to someone. I would have preferred the points system so that we can Bid but its sad that no point system. If mods will alow me than i can install a point system. I am a oroginal vbulletin customer

Guys, cricsim is a dos based text cricket simulation. It's pretty basic, but a joy for all the statisticians.

And oh, I want the Lahore team.

It would be complete on the simulator. I will put the custom values for each squad.
About the team if no body else will request than you can own this. We will have Sign-Ups after all the team will given to the owners.

Oh sounds brilliant! I have the Karachi team right?

Because I want the team. OK? I WANT IT.

I don't MIG, or Oxy, or Merc bidding on it. They have like 5030948309 posts and it wouldn't be fair.

Right, the Lahore franchise has been snapped up by your's truly and the Karachi franchise has gone to Zeeshan. We can now sit back and watch the rest of this fascinating drama unravel.

P.S. Zeeshan, your team is going to crash and burn. Muahahahahahaha.

Mmm, I think six teams is fine.

Think about it, we need at the minimum 11 players per franchise. So that's 66 members already!!

Oooh, epiphany. If we can't make up the squads with enough PP'ers, then we should be allowed to get real international players. Go through a proper bidding system or something; 3 international players per team.

Goats? What a joke. My boys are on a strict ALLIGATOR diet. All they will see are lili-pads.

Wait no...that's bad...

On a more serious note, I think we should have only 4 teams, because getting 66 members maybe hard. Or 5. yeah 5 is a good number. Sorry, Gujranwala.

And I ADORE the idea of international players. That's awesome. And we'll set the limit depending how many members want to sign up. Proly 4 or 5.

Ok if I may take charge (15%), I'd officially say that we should/will have FIVE TEAMS.

Karachi, Lahore, Punjab, Rawalpindi, Multan/Peshawar

Also, whoever owns a franchise, should be able to switch their hometown to any town they want. For example, if I own Karachi, I can change it to Attock?

Or should we not do that?

Btw, potential team owners, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi have been throned by The Blazer, Easa, and iZeeshan. Beware.

Btw, what team does the Legend have?

Yeah, I think Blaze would be cool with that.

One little snag though: training for the team won't be off the well known, publicized type. In fact, I'm not sure if you can call wrestling with wild, live snakes while stabbing and de-spleening a myriad of squealing goats as "training". So you might differ a little. And you better be all right with that, because O.B. and fellow beastologists have some weird tendencies.

Yeah, you can be a co-owner dude.

However, I think co-owners should be allowed to play in the XI as well, just to make it that bit fairer for them.

What are the list of teams and who are the General Managers of it?

So far all I'm clear with is:

*** Lahore Lightning Leopards *** -------- The Blazer

Can Izee or anyone else in the know update the list with full set of teams and the owners names next to the ones which have been taken?

Blaze, team owners, are like captains. WE PLAY and we ANNIHILATE!

I still think we should go with 5 teams. I really don't think we can get even 40 members!

iZeeshan - Karachi
Blazer- Lahore
Easa - Rawalpindi
