Increasing number of "Increasing number of" threads in Time pass?

Let's use this thread to satisfy our collective recent fetish for "increasing number of" threads.

CRAPP* News
By Our Special Correspondent

In what is being regarded as a significant trend by eminent social scientists, Nobel prize winners, and the President of the Paindus Association in Karachi, an increasing number of men around the world have begun to embrace everything and everyone, especially women. Increasingly.

Researchers have traced this worldwide phenomena to an African temple six months ago, when the head priest emerged from his three day trance, stepped outside and began to embrace cars, washtubs, iPods, cowdung and any woman he could find, claiming he was doing this to further god's glory.

While the priest himself was slapped to death by irate women (led by, sources tell us, his bucolic wife), this trend has spread like wildfire. In great metropolises such as New York, London, Paris, Berlin, and Jhumritalaiya (Bihar, India) , men are increasingly - and publicly - embracing everything and anything, including women.

"This is further proof" said DNA, fervidly embracing the microphone, "That my emails work, and the Pakistan team should embrace victory".

"Not at all said" Saleem Altaf, unsuccessfully but forcefully trying to embrace DNA's neck. He was led out by police, plaintively claiming that he was "Only embracing DNA out of great love".

Not everyone is happy with this trend. Salma S, housewife, Islamabad was most indignant when she spoke to this reporter. "Ab to ghar ke bahar jaana mushkil ho gaya hai. Mua sabziwala bhi gale milna chahata hai" she said.

Meanwhile India and Pakistan are reported to be edging close to a nuclear confrontation after Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf tried to embrace India's first female President Pratibha Patil.

An unrepentant Musharraf stated "Yo bruv, it's da kool thing, yo!". Musharraf, who sported a black eye, said that the black eye was given to him by his wife. "Women don't understand these things", he said curtly.

President Bush, who is still in a lifelong search to embrace intelligence, said that he "Hoped that 'Indiastan' and 'Pakistania' will find a way to embrace each other, hey Condi was I eloquent or what?"

Meanwhile In a highly charged press conference, subcontinental cricket legends Javed Miandad and and an emotional Kapil Dev heavily condemned this trend. Miandad, who was wearing turquoise speedos and a T shirt emblazoned 'Sexy, Sexy' said "Mele phaital ko koi emblace nahi kalta. Uska kya? Tum kaloge emblace?"

Am emotional Dev, emotionally broke down and said emotionally "This is disgusting jee, no morals in the youth jee. Mere zamaane mein to wife tak to embrace karne ke liye bhi permission lena parta tha. Aur aaj ke ladkon ko dekho..."

The press conference ended with an emotional Dev trying to emotionally embrace Miandad. Who was observed struggling frantically and shouting "Get off me, you pervert!".

Meanwhile it has been reported that Osama Bin laden is trying to actively find someone to embrace, but thus far has found no takers.

More reports are awaited.
