We need Specialist Openers so I have no problem with

1.Salman Butt.

2.Nasir jamshed.

Then comes the Middle Order, We got 3 players there who are well established.

3.Younis Khan.

4.Mohammad Yousaf.

5.Misbah-Ul-Haq.

Then the next position where we need an all rounder who is as good with the ball as he is with the bat and can blast a few in the finishing over.This is really a tricky one, I won't Go for Malik because I don't expect him to bowl a full quota of ten overs without going for plenty.Afridi is having a bad run with the bat, If heregains his hitting form he suits in better than most.Fawad Alam can't finish off the game, he is a nudger and we already got 3 strong Middle order batsmen for that but If Afridi and Malik can't suit the conditions than it has to be Fawad Alam.

6.Shoaib Malik/Shahid Afridi/Fawad Alam.

Then comes the Specialist Wicket Keep.I have no problem with Sarfaraz's Keeping but he is not a good batter, If Akaml regains his keeping touch then he has to come back in the side and should be preferred over Sarfaraz.

7.Akaml Akmal/Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Then comes the bowlers.If we are playing in spin friendly conditions then we need one specialist spinner to go with 3 Pacers.But if the conditions are pace friendly then there has to be all seam attack.I hope in CT we will get Shoaib,Asif and Gul Back who will be automatic choice for selection.The remaining position shall be decided between Tanveer and Ajmal The Offy.

8.Saeed Ajma/Sohail Tanveer.

9.Shoaib Akhtar.

10Umer Gul.

11.Mohammad Asif.


For that to happen there should be a big change as far as I am concerned rip Malik off the captaincy and give it to Misbah because Malik in my view is playing purely because he is a captain.

I wouldnt put Afridi in the same category as Fawad/Malik who are batting all rounders.

That won't be bad as well because If we go that route we will have 6 bowling options.

I would agree with this, only thing I would like to include is Wahab Riaz in there as well, only considering that the guy gains his pace back, and runs in with his full runup!

Yaar, you are making a mistake.

There is no 6th Bowling Option in your team. Just look at the list of your players once more and you find out there are only and only 5 Bowlers.
