Dhoni takes admission in St. Xavier's college

Link: http://www.cricketnext.com/news/dhon.../33928-13.html

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has sought and got admission at the St. Xaviers college in Ranchi. He wants a bachelors degree in Commerce and later plans to get a masters in business administration.

The students are thrilled at the news and are looking forward to seeing their celebrity colleague. St. Xaviers college has confirmed his admission.

The institute has been in news ever since Dhoni has expressed his wish to study in his favorite college.

However, due to the delay in his admissions there was a probability that he may not get admission but the vice-chancellor of the University has confirmed that he has taken the admission.

Teachers and students at the St. Xavier's college are elated at Dhoni's wish to study at their college as they consider it to be a matter of pride for them.

Before he applied for admission in Xaviers, he was pursuing his education from Ranchi's Gossner College. Though the management was upset when he left but it was understandable as he was a busy man.

Meanwhile, it seems that the girls of the Xaviers college are the most happy lot as they will get to know their Hero.

Sources say that though Dhoni has taken admission in Xaviers but he will be taking his exams from Chennai as he is the captain of the Chennai IPL team.

He is definitely setting an example for others. Fame, Money, Security can all come and go but your education will never leave you. Good luck to him but i wonder whether it will be good for the collage, practical for Dhoni in the LR. He is going to go to study, i hope he wont be a distraction, if the team does really badly will he be welcomed in the collage? if he gets involved in a controversy, will he have his own space? I just dont get how will this work in the end.

Good move by Dhoni. I am impressed by this guy. I don't care if this is publicity move or not but he has sensible head and he is using it to full extent.

wow this guy is probably the classiest and most sensible cricket we've had in a long long time. I mean Sachin is classy and sensible too, but this guy takes it to another level.

He'd be the "perfect" cricketer if he could just get his test performacne up. Even an average of 43-45 as a keeper batsman captain would be phenomenal.
