read a piece about this Muslim singer who wears daring outfits for her music videos. what u all think of this? personally, i think she is a disgrace to the Muslim community. However I am not Muslim which is why I want your views.

I'm not from bradford but i agree with Muddy here. I live close by an visit now an then. Its not as bad as some ppl make it out to be, no1 smokes drinks in the open. The futher south u go the worse it gets for pakistani's ...... Manc is pretty bad compared to us, Bham is just f***** up but the London area ?? theres no words for it!

Faisal bhai, there are hardly any Indians up north and if there are any they dont drink in the open either.
Drug dealing is a big problem but you dont get Sharaabi's who drink in the open. I went to Hounslow and all my cousins and their friends drank in the open!

I studied in Bradford. The muslim community at large has high moral values. No doubt there are yound muslims who have strayed but that is no differnt to any other town. For socially distadvantaged people there will always be young people who are willing do do things for a quick buck.
Mre tahn anything there is strong revival of muslim values amongst the young which I feel is backlash to the muslim phobia portrayed by Blair etc.

Whats with all this dissing of Bradford, i have been visting Bradford since i was well little so i know it reasonably well! I did not see any Sharabis in the open, i know there is an issue with drugs but dissing the area because of a documentary you saw that was made by non-muslims who like to take a dig at Bradford all the chance they get!
imo the North is far better than the south!

This deeyah is actually called Deepika, she changed her name cos she says "it was hard for the ***** to say". i read somewhere that she is a hindu. she is claiming to be a muslim so she can get some publicity. Also she is a cr@p singer so the publicity will be pointless imo!
