Ahmed looks quite old for a 17 year old.

It is a valuable experience for Ahmed Shehzad to train with Pak team.

To **** players always add 3 years to the age they tell you and you'll get the real age.

You can think what you like BUT he is certainly not 20-22 regardless of how he looks

He played in the U19 World Cup last year and all the players get wrist tested

You can't blame the players cuz PCB has a fascination with teenage players so there is a lot of pressure on these players to hide their age.

The tests only tell if a player is under 19 it doesn't tell the exact age so many players who say they are 15 or 16 are usually 18 or 19. One such example was Nasir Jamshed having said that atleast we don't get cases like Afridi any more and the age difference is usually no more than 2 years.

So he cant be 22 since the test was taken this time last year

That's what I said add 3/4 years to the age they tell you and you'll get the real age. In this case he is at least 20 years old.

The wrist tests have a possible error of 6 months either way I believe. Thus reasonably accurate.

He is listed at 17 years and a few days right now so last year during the world cup he was 16. He passed the tests so he obviously wasn't over 19 so even if we add exactly 3 years he is still no more than 20, hope this clears everything.

he's 17... he has passed the test they conduct at the u19 tournaments... plus I know 17 year olds that look older then this kid. Some boys end up growing faster and thus appear too old for their age. We can't go around generalizing that they all lie about their ages.

How old do you think new Australian opener is? If Shezad is 20 according to you then that guy must be 25-26?

Here is a picture of him taken just before the u19 wc last year:
http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/pakvs...er/259410.html

He does not look more than 16-17 on this picture. He has just become "Mouta" now and that is why you guys think he is much elder.

Maximum 19!
