Are we the most injury prone international team?
It seems to me that we have not had a fully fit test first team since 2004 against india at lahore (and even then razzaq was injured, a blessing in disguise)
I wonder why our team suffers from this so much? |

Lack of professionalism is a major reason.
Also the players probably would not have done stretching and variouos other training when young. This sadly comes back to haunt you when your isn't as fit as it used to be... |

No way it has to be india, everytime i watch them play they either missing a bowler or they missing tendulker. Zaheer khan, nehra, balaji and harbhajan usually get injured in turns its like they plan together who gets injured in which match.
And when Ganguly plays india miss an extra batsmen too :5: :5: Last edited by Master-P; 15th July 2005 at 22:33. |

got to be NZ
anyone remember Geoff Allott, the left arm seamer who was the joint highest wicket taker in 99 WC, he had only a 2-3 yr international career and then retired because of injury. He also had that unique 3 finger grip on the ball. |

All countries have their problems, and you cannot avoid at times. Sure we get injured but so do India because they are usually missing a batsmen or bowler. NZ always have someone injured, first BOnd, then AStle, and then Tuffey.
Even Australia in 2004 had Lee, Mcgrath, Gillespie all injured at one point! Sri Lanka had Murali injured, happens to each team. |
