Pakistan team to Arrive in the UK on 30th May - Some questions

This might be for those PPers with friends or relatives who work at either Emirates or PIA, or work at one of the major UK airports.

I note that one of the sponsors of the T20 WC is Emirates so I presume they will be flying all the teams to the UK, or will the Pak team travel by good ol PIA ?

Also has anyone got any details of where they are landing and timing details ?

Interesting.

I think their first port of call will be TKC Southall so if we have any insiders there? or maybe someone has seen a recent ad on ARY where the Pakistan players invite people to come come have dinner with me ..etc

Its Heathrow Airport folks.

I really do think they are turning up quite late. Their first warmup match is only 2 days after they land in the country. Not much time for acclimatisation.

It's OK it won't be a problem, Chris Gayle was proof of that.

I think they are arriving on time.. a week before the actual tournament starts

I just realized something, they went to the hill resort for training and part of it was to get used to the cooler weather and rest will be relaxation (I doubt it was to train on hills as that is useless for 5 days). Then they go to 40 degree temperature to play warm up matches and the T20 matches to undo all the cooler weather training.

Well done as no one got injured or sick yet. But call TKC early to find out the dates and make reservations
