Thats a good moral booster but we have to realize that is a different pitch and different bowlers pitching the ball right up to be hit.

Nice video Blisher007, i completely forgot about this.
I hope Fawad gets a chance to shine in the final.
Obviously the conditions were different but more importantly the current Lankan attack is much better.

Razzaq's one was one of the best overs in ODIs.
As for Afridi's 32, i actually felt sorry for Bandara

LOL, the thread is about Fawad, not about Mendis, Afridi, Abdul Razzaq or any1 else.

Fawad needs to bat at no.4, since Afridi is batting good at no.3.
We need a batsman who can score at least 1 run a ball. Shoaib Malik at the moment doesn't do that.

well .. fawad is in this side for his fielding mostly .. #8's don't have much of a chance to contribute with the bat in a 20 over match.

You are totally wrond sir, He is, alongside Younis, our best batsman when it comes to rotate the strike. Malik has struggled wih SR under 100 and Misbah is block or hit, so Misbah is good to have down the order.
Singles are very important during those middle overs and 5 singles pluss an odd boundary is valuable.
Just look at Fawad's domestic record. I know international cricket is different but you have to give him chance.

If Aamir can bowl the last over in semi-finals, why can't fawad play at no.4?
