For a player like Imran Nazir it is bound to be very high, coupled with his power he can be explosive when set.

But being that one dimensional can also be your greatest weakness.

The problem i say with Imran Nazir was that most Pakistani team managements ordered him to reduce his shots and to play defensively. The guy is a completely different player when he is allowed to go after the bowling.

Totally agree, management always wanted him to block and take single. He is naturally fast scorer who likes to play his shots soon as ball lands in his area. He should be given license to play free and have ago at bowlers,

His hand eye coordination is undisputed.

You are right on Savak. Those who have watched him during the ICL, it is amazing to see how gifted this guy is. I think Pakistan is very unlucky not to have a guy like him as an opener. He picks the ball everywhere and hit shots at will. He should be back in to Pakistan's twenty 20 ASAP.

I think he would have been in if it wasn't because of him quitting ICL so late to the deadline..

He was in the same boat as Razzaq that he couldn't be named in the squad for th T20, although in the original enlarged squad.

His hand eye cordintaion is super (perhaps top 5 in the intl level) but his technique poor.

The problem is how long can you depend on hand eye cordination as by the time he will be 30 his reflexed will slow down. He needs to improve his batting technique if he wants to last longer at the Intl. stage

was it because he failed twice every three matches? So let him continue and focus on the other opener or keep going with 20-2? You need some sort of consistency from players and I am not worried about a duck as the best players will have it but not every 2-3 match. I don't know his scoring pattern but a batsman has to be sensible and not just swing. I don't know his scores from before or his average or any stat. Now he has also gotten older so he may have changed with age. The answer is not always someone else made him change his style as as time goes by the style may becomes the style some were saying. If he was successful as the swining machismo then no one would say change the style but only reason I will see will be he was failing twice out or 3 innings and even third winning will be 30 some runs
