http://www.pakistanphonenumber.com/
So, this website gives you access to a virtual Pakistani Phone Number, so your relatives/friends can call you at local rates. Has anyone tried ? Does it work on cell phones ? |

they can use magic jack
so far wot i've understood is if i want to call at a cell/landline number in country X, i will buy a pakistani virtual number, divert the calls of the virtual number in pakistan to a cell/landline number in country X and i will be paying for a local call? i've heard someone using this in middle east where voip's are blocked. i dont know how it really works.

Get Skype.
All my family members are on the 3 network. When we want to call each other on their mobile, from our mobiles we call using Skype. The phone rings normally and it's free It does NOT use your minutes 3 operate the same service in some other countries. When I went to Sweden last year, I called home, from my phone, via Skype, for free (to a mobile phone on 3 in the UK, or to a PC). Some 3 phones have special Skype button built in so you don't have to fiddle around. When relatives from Pakistan wish to call us on our mobiles, when we are not at home, they call using Skype from their PC's, to our Skype addresses on our mobiles - for free. At my brothers University, all the foreign students have gone on the 3 network - and their parents from USA/Canada/Pakistan.... call them via their PC's/Skype, even when the kids are out and about. So if you live in the UK, get a mobile from 3, and get your relatives to call using a pc.

When I was in the USA, a few years ago, there was one calling card, for $10, and it gave me 1500 minutes to call my parents in the UK! (Landline to landline)

If you are able to get numbers stopped from being called, then by the same token you are able to get them 'un-stopped'. . . Get a list of numbers dialed from your phone, from your phone company. Show this resident evil the list.
