Oh,
Well Sanga was studyin Law and completed his degree I think

As for here in the UAE almost all the national team players have gotten jobs in Emirates Airlines or some Banks.

In Pakistan as well there used to be a similar sytem, I'm not sure whether it is still implimented now but banks like Habib Bank and PIA used to hire players and give em jobs so they could play for them.

Same goes for Canadian cricket team player (they don't work for Airlines but cricket is kinda part time for them)

Wasim Akram and several other players worked for PIA

Nah, just a simple awara also referred to as "chora" "masali" "marsai" in these parts. I used to live in the same locality as him (morga ) before he became "Rawalpindi Express" he would basically ride all day long on his shoddy old motorcycle with a bad silencer and strut around in bad landa jeans. He would get into arguments in the local park as sometimes the guys wouldn't let him play and used to refer to his bowling as "wata".

Bad information! In fact Brett Lee worked for Barclay's Menswear! Selling men's clothes! Also, he has a particular interest in fashion and, together with brother Shane, launched his own fashion label, "BL".

Mitchell Johnson I believe became a truck driver after he was told he did not have a future as an australian cricketer. WIth that in mind hes done well to get back to where he is now.

Not entirely correct, he was dropped from the Queensland squad for not working hard enough - was driving a delivery truck. He said in an interview (sorry no sauce but my memory) the turning point came when he and some work mates were watching the cricket and one of them said "so do you want to play with those blokes or stay here driving a truck?"

He was always earmarked as a special talent MJ. Lillee spotted him first.

Of the Aussies, very few work as Aus cricket provides a full time living for most.

Ricky Ponting's one and only job was a greenkeeper when he was about 17. Has never worked before or after.

Mark Taylor was a surveyor.

Stuart Clark is studying law now.

Hilfy was a bricklayer.

Fish or OG might know some more of the others...

Shane Bond was/is a police officer.

Alott (the guy who got a lot of wickets in the 99 WC for NZ) is a doctor.

Strauss was offered a job in a London accountancy firm, but chose a contract with Middlesex instead.

Ian Ward was a aeroplane window cleaner.

Graham Napier was offered a contract at Ipswich Town FC as a goal keeper, but chose a contract with Essex instead.
