there will be plenty of bounce after the rollers, they need to use the light ones so they don't crush the grass off

There's nothing wrong with the track. Moyo and co played horrendously. Hats off to Aamer and iDone. Poor batting overall, like always.

Having said that Pakistan will win today Inshaallah.

Pretty annoyed that the first ball of the final over wasn't given a wide, and how Akmal junior was given out. No matter, tailenders's partnership may just give Pakistan something to bowl at.

My assessment of Pak innings.

Mistakes:
-I can't come of a single reason why they chose batting 1st on this pitch... The batting will be very easy in 2nd innings.. (Aamer + Ajmal showed it!)
-Weird Batting from Pro Batsmen (Mohammad Yousaf and Umar Akmal) After the 30th over, all the hardwork was done, and a platform was set for a big one.. But instead of grabbing singles/doubles and looking for an odd boundary, they started to play like Afridi.. Hit on everyball.. That not only wasted their 5-6 overs, but also it cost 2 very vital wickets.
- Even after the departure of MoYo and Akmal, 250 plus was a probability, but thanks to Stupid cross slog shots from Rana/Gul.. It was all gone..

Overall, they are 20-30 runs short... But if they bowl well, they can still win it...

I reckon Ross Taylor is the dangerman. Really good against spin, especially slog-sweep.

If we get him early, our spinners can have a strangle-hold on the game.

We should come out with energy, the extra 30 runs must have really pumped up Pakistan and we need to show it on the pitch with lots of energy and ruthless intimidation.

I don't blame him. If Waqar was there, even 134 would have been enough.

Pakistan to win Inshaallah.

Parnell took 5 wickets against NZ in the group match
They cant be assumed to be too comfortable against left arm fast bowling. And Amir is going to get decent bounce today.
Maybe Amir can have a special day today!
