Afridi's new Cricket BAT [merged]

Did you guys saw Afridi new BAT yesterday. To me it looked a perfect cricket BAT for him. suited him aswell and now officially Afridi has his own Bat which was great to see. check it out

Anyway,LOVED it! Great design,the "Boom Boom" looked awesome!I want it!
I hope he uses the same bat all the time,now that its personalized for him.

He should bat with the one he received from Waqar Younis it was a gift from Sachin to Waqar actually but that day Afridi lost his bat & Waqar asked him to use this, the same bat gave him the record of the fastest hundred...

I have posted few pictures of that bat in "Question Regarding MB Malik Bats" thread. I think MODs should merge this thread into that thread. Afridi is using a new bat. This bat is not Bubber Sher with new stickers on it. I think he himself have made a company called "Boom Boom" since that is written everywhere (front, back and sides). As far thickness is concerned Afridi's new bat is much thicker than MB Malik Sher Amin and Bubber Sher

That bat is approximately 10 or plus years old. It is impossible to keep playing with a bat with 10 or more years. No matter how well you take care of the bat it will crack sooner or later

I have heard he has launched his own brand of bats called "Boom Boom", not sure if it has hit the retail market yet. The bat looks fat but stickers can be improved.

I think its the same bat, he has just put on new stickers because the back of the bat has the same cut as bubber sher.

But this bat has much thicker edges compare to Bubber Sher. But you never know it could be Bubber Sher. I highly doubt it will be Bubber Sher

We have been struggling to hit sphugs so I think it is good if our players use bigger bats as we don't get as many singles as other teams therefore need to hit more 6s.

Bubber sher has some real thick edges CD and I don't think these players change their bats tht often because once you have your hands set on one, you don't wana experiment new sticks in important games...and they also get it made for them so I highly doubt its a new bat.

Just wait for Pakistan tour to England and Naser Hussain every other hour saying big bats. These are big bats. But last time Pakistan went to England I think they were trying regular bats to reduce out by edges (or the ball carrying to slips) and I don't know how that works.

Yes I know Bubber Sher has thick edges. You are quite right but no one will ever use a new bat in a game they actually undergo alot of net sessions in order to get used to new bats.

This sums up the fact that Mohammad Yousuf relies on timing the ball properly whereas Afridi uses his "Pathan Power" to hit the ball out of the fielders reach
