In Test cricket, if we had no Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed or Abdul Qadir, Afridi might have sneaked in as a spin bowling all-rounder. May be.

Why not. He was only the match winning bowler in team back then. All of the initial wins were because of his bowling feats. Waqar had Wasim bowling alongside him.

A wisden cricketer of the year 1955. No one can match the big heart he had when he bowled non-stop for pakistan. Infact over bowled by today's standards.

They've started updating the column again. This time it's South Africa. I think they're going by the order of inauguration in Test cricket.
