Cricinfo says "In a high-scoring match, it's invariably the lethal spell of bowling separates two sides, and in that respect, it's hard to look beyond Bond, whose classical action, frightening pace and immaculate control are the envy of everyone else. "
As good as Bond looked against India, he is barely touching 90MPH...if he wasn't swinging the ball like crazy, he would be express at best I guess his current pace is "Frightening" by Indian standards BTW, Mr. Amjid, how come no replies to my posts in few threads about a Pakistani Chucker and a WI Chucker

I'll say India has maybe a 30% chance of winning. Kiwis are by far the favorites and most likely Bond will have Ganguly hopping again in the first over.
I hope I've anti-jinxed the team!!! |

I hope the Kiwis once and for all put Ganguly out of his misery. That scrub has been given way too many comeback chances. If he doesnt score this time I'm betting his ass is out of the team for good.

Agarkar is probably India's fastest bowler right now. Which means he can throw down thunderbolts at speeds as high as 135km/h !

Could Kaif be in the form of his life ?
|
|
#55
|

Probaly yes, and if you look at Kaifs techinque you would think he was raised In England because of his straight elbow, but I think he performs better overseas than India because of his techinque. He is very techincally correct and sometimes in India, with the ball turning square you need more than just techinque. Plus, the fact that he is batting up the order helps. Like I have been saying, let him bat up because he is a innings builder not a brasher.
Moreover back to the game, but the boundaries are flying for NZ all over the place, just a mere push from Fleming and gone for four. |

New Zealand off to a flyer here 3.5 Nehra to Fleming, one run, full and outside the off, Fleming drives, the ball goes past point down towards third man 3.4 Nehra to Astle, one run, short of a length and outside the off, eased down to third man with an angled bat 3.3 Nehra to Astle, FOUR, too full, too straight, this is a suicidal line and length, Astle flicks around his front pad with ease and the ball races through square leg 3.2 Nehra to Astle, no run, short of a good length and outside the off, punched down towards cover 3.1 Nehra to Astle, legbye: FOUR, full once again and on the pads, this is not the place to bowl, glance played and missed, off the pads down to fine-leg |
