PPP and their so-called 'qurbaniyaan' for Pakistan

Let me begin by saying until recently, I used to really enjoy watching the policitcal discussion shows and debates on Pakistani channels, such as Capital Talk with Hamid Mir, Kashif Abbasi on ARY ,and others..

sure our politicians are full of 'bull' at times, but there was often some interesting and constructive debates.. and still are, when you have the likes of Imran Khan, Musahid Hussain, and a few others.

But one thing I am really fed up with and it has put me off these programmes altogether is this PPP nonsense that they keep going on and on about their so-called 'qurbaniyaan', their 'shaeed mohtarma', this that and other.. no matter what the question being asked, whatever the topic or issue be it load shedding/electricity, terrorism, Kerry-Luger Bill or now the NRO --- these muppets are so full of it, never respond to a question with something that is relevant.. but no, PPP ne ye qurbaniyaaan dee hai, they are reminding you like they expect the whole country to be grateful to PPP for what they have done for the country.. sacrificed their lives in their quest for power and wealth, but no.. its all done for the country isnt it.

I am so bored of this PPP nonsenese, what do other ppl think ??

I mean all the politicians will praise their leaders and suck up to them , thats expected in Pak politics.. but really, the PPP take this boot polishing to another level altogether.

There are 2 things PPP will ALWAYS bring up NO MATTER what...Qurbania (perhaps rightly, i mean i dont think anyone can discount this) and the Sindh card. Thats it from bloody PPP!

If Benazir was a mohtarma (may Allah forgive her sins and mine for saying this)...then Altaf Hussain is the second coming of Edhi the great; just as Edhi and Altaf Kuttaa have nothing in common, same is the case with equating Benazir to a Mohtarma (Lady of Great Respect and Dignity)! The stories I have heard about her Oxford days are anything but lady like...

In my opinion, PPP has been taking a leaf out of MQM's book in every which way...in regards with doing this over the top mention of the Qurbaniyaan etc.
