The rest of the VB series!

We have between 2-5 matches left in the VB series and im not sure whether we should continue with Azhar and Hafeez or whether we should drop them.

They both seem to have finally found some form with the bat even though their bowling has been abysmal.

My thoughts are that we should conclude this experiment in the VB! We should just carry on with the same team and then if we fail we can make some big changes for the India series.

As it stands i cant see us winning with the back-up bowlers we have avilable anyway so why not give Azhar and Hafeez a full ODI series before we send them on their merry ways?

In a perfect world i'd love to be going into the next few matches with the following XI...

Salman
Hameed
YoYo - split him from Inzi so we dont lose our 2 biggest wickets together
Malik (if he was able to bowl)
Inzi
Akmal
Razzaq
Afridi
Rana
Sami
Shoaib

...but this isnt a perfect world and we can only play with what we have.

So i think we should conclude the experiment with Akmal as an opener, Hafeez and Azhar by playing them in the remaining matches!

We are always complaining that Pakistani players dont get a full series to prove themselves or that they are always being shuffled about the order and now that the players arent being messed about we're complaining too!!

Does anyone agree with me that we should use the remainder of the VB series to complete this experiment??

Hafeez has come on in leaps and bounds since then, the worst part about that series was the batting order was always changing and there was no stability to anything
