I can see this marriage is not going to work out. Sania seems quite educated and articulate girl and Malik, just a paindo clown.

Obviously Sania must have thought she had a choice between Sreesanth, Ishant Sharma, Mishra,...and Malik, so she put the finger on Malik, but I think she will regret her decision based on somebody's looks.

Great news for Malik and Pakistani cricket. He's improved from last one and Pakistani team can finally get rid of him.

I'm happy for both Malik and criket team. Great news since t20 final.

Shoaib Malik All Set To Marry Sania Mirza Indian Tennis Star

Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza are going to tie the knot in April, Sania's father Imran Mirza confirmed to media.

As per reports, the two sports stars have been in an affair for the last six months, which had led to Sania's earlier engagement to break.

Sources said that the mother of Shoaib Malik went to Indian city of Hyderabad Deccan where she met with the family of Sania Mirza and finalized Shoaib and Sania's marriage.

This may be recalled that earlier engagements of both Malik and Mirza had come to an end.

Malik was engaged with Ayesha Siddiqui also from Hyderabad Deccan on June 3, 2002 while Sania on the other side was engaged with childhood friend Sohrab Khan which ended in January 2010.

The wedding ceremony of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza will take place in India while the valima reception will be hosted by Malik on April 16 or 17 in Lahore.

"I desire to get married soon. You will soon get some good news but it depends on my family. I fully expect to get married this year," Shoaib had said in a recent interaction with the media.

Asked if it would be an arranged marriage, he said, "No can say what will happen, but it will take place with the concurrence of my family

Our correspondent

CHITRAL: Two Indian nationals held recently in Chitral under Foreigners’ Act have been released by the court and deported to Buner dis-trict, local sources said on

Sunday. The sources said that Nasir Khan and Riaz Khan, residents of Gujrat state in India, went to Mardan last week to see their relatives and then took a Chitral-bound bus and were arrested when they reached there. Riaz Khan told the police that they came to Chitral to find a wife with the help of their local friend. The court directed the police to send them back to Buner district where their relatives were residing. In Buner, they were staying with their relative, Muhammad Imran, in Pir Baba area and would go back to India on April 10; however, their visas were valid up to April 14.
you guys are trying to steal our women too, its a payback

The curious case of Shoaib Malik!

1-Although the guy looks like any average (though with rather attractive and balanced facial features) pakistani guy yet for some odd reason most of the pakistani girls think of him highly when it comes to choosing from the recent lot of pakistani players which doesn't really score highly in the looks section! (Plz don't confuse his popularity in girls with middle aged (in terms of cricket) Afridi, as believe it or not but He mostly has male following in Pakistan )

2-He although has those mediocre innocent / boyish looks but is generally very quiet and is not actually an ideal example of those charming/ big mouthed kind of guys either who get girls just through their god gifted ability of talking the right talk! (o.e He doesn't even seem to be a player)

3-Despite all his infamous activities on and off the field, he never seems to be struggling in the girls department!

So does that mean He is one of those Sacha Aashiq types, that deep down inside every woman along with the super stars like Sania Mirza are looking for ???...I say this because genuinely I don't see anything materialistic in it for Sania Mirza, who is not only highly educated, from a rich family but has no shortage of handsome looking indian men drooling over her!

So either it is Sacha Aashiq or Hidden affection towards pakistanis for Sania to marry such an on field loser and infamous person at a point in time when having a pakistani hubby is not a good deal from any angel for any indian girl, let alone, some one whose whole professional future is associated with the indian cap!, right?

Fair enough! But you get some weird freaks (who are men) who go into immense detail in describing how "attractive" a certain male is.

Indian Reaction on Shoaib Sania Wedding

Sad day indeed

whatever she had will now be finished............no indian company will ever want to be associated with a pakistani's wife.........

her tennis career is also at a low.....

is there a connection....like in.... birds of the same feather flock together?

she will lose whatever credibility she has in India........

What credibility she had? She is famous because of her glamor ,she is a heartthrob for millions of young men...! Its inevitable that she lose some of her glam value after marriage be it an Indian or a ****.

I still dont buy it. Must be an April fool prank. She cant be dumb enough to do that.

Shyte. some people here aren't coping well at all.

Not one congratulatory message, only posts written in angst.

Seriously why the **** do you guys care to whom does she get married to ? Apne baap ka kya jata hain

***.....just ***??? Shoaib Malik out of all people??? This dude who claimed pakistan's loss in t20 2007 WC as a loss for all muslims around the world??? this guy??? seriously? looks like chandni chowk's chinni chor

*** is wrong with Sania? 1st that sohaib mirza jhadi looking dude and now this..........what a loser

***? seriously ***??

I have been a frustrated fan of hers for some years now..No need to cheer this bos@d$wal$ again

Is there a law or even some unwritten convention against it?

I can't stand a lot of things Pakis do and say myself but understand that this is personal stuff. You're reacting as if she's betrayed India

poore India mein koi sona munda pasand nahi aaya dhikkar hai hum par

Hope Bal Thackeray, Narendra Modi & Praveen Togadia will attend the wedding in PoK and give blessings to the kids

Good for him.

At least he can get this part of his life sorted out after that online dating debacle. I could care less that he is marrying an Indian because thats his personal choice and I don't need to throw in my two cents on that aspect of things.

All I want is for his love scandals/issues to finish and be removed from news channels. The guy is rumored to be with so many girls its not even funny.

Shoaib Malik sure does perform well when it comes to India. That's no shocker.

'India kay mahmalay main Shoaib Malik peeche naahin hota, yeh kya sakkar hai'

I am really really surprised. I guess look is not everything.

I think govt of Pakistan should intervene and unban him and make him a captain of Pakistan's cricket team and double his match fee. Dont forget about Tamgha e Imtiyaaz. This man has avenged the humiliation of Pak Players by IPL, loss of T20 WC final to India, loss of East Pakistan and above all made Zaid Hamid proud. He is a true saviour and Hero of Pakistan. He conquered India by Love.

All Hail Shoaib Malik-the great Pakistani MUNDAA

Its a little funny that Indians hate anything Pakistani, they beat up our comedian, dont wanna play cricket with us, isolate us saying we are Talibans, terrorists, humiliate our Superstar champion team at their auctions and here we are stealing their one and only Tennis Star. All I can say is Allah u Akbar. Allah is great

Well you are generalizing a bit. Not all of them hate us. Lets not put them all in the same group.

Although I am sure most of us are willing enough to donate Malik to India.

Considering Shoaib Malik's online dating expertise - I would say that he contacted her via some social networking avenue.

I have personally met Sania Mirza and the people who think she is beatiful and sexy probably needs to get their eye-sight check up..She is a very average player with very average looks and the only way she could find to remain in news and get famous is shorten her dress so (be controversial ).

One suggestion to our Politican Shoaib Malik(please get settle in India)

yes sania is average looking (to be honest, she looks more like the female version of ganguly ) but the fact that you believe that her mandatory tennis dress made her famous only exposes your parochial and typical daqyanosi mindset!

She is a professional and therefore has to wear what her profession demands of her , in fact I watched an interview of her in which she was not particularly proud of having to wear such clothes!

Also I feel, that if any one finds her professional dressing sensual or profane, he better go to a psychologist as he needs help! ...I have seen many of our so called "shareef" pakistani girls revealing much more and that too in an odd manner in the so-called repectable dress known as shalwar qameez!

Also the actual reason for sania's hype is indian media, for which, the fact that a woman tennis player and that too a muslim one with acceptable looks as well as talent, was too tempting a package to ignore!

Mate you need to check the Dress code for the tennis and its NOT compulsory to wear the dress she wears...and to the fact you think she is embarassed about it ...i can guide you to her Party pics in much shorter dresses then she wears in Tennis but i dont care what she wears as its her personal matter but DO NOT DEFEND HER bro saying she is ashamed of wearing that dress

she is not the only women to play for INDIA..the hype she gets is because she is Muslim and wears the Short Dresses not the other way around.

WHO cares for someone who has never won an major???(INDIAN MEDIA)
