Ron Paul is someone else that should be listened to. Why is the United
States wasting its money and resources on maintaining over 700 military

He is good writer yet he gets distracted by the suffering of people and hence his analysis lose objectivity (there is no space of humanity in world politics).

Still he provides first hand data that one can rely upon with full confidence, but still one needs to makes his own opinion.

There are writers galore. But while objective writers need praise, it is
political leaders willing to go out on a limb and say uncomfortable facts
that need real support. Non-interventionism is actually a Republican or
conservative concept historically in the U.S. Have the Democrats/Obama
made any real policy shift? Non-interventionists -- like Ron Paul -- are the
only hope for a sane policy. It's in America's interest to cut back militarily.
