Shaaiq Choudhry makes his Championship debut for Worcetershire

i am friend of his dad, and i know him since his childhood,played for warwickshire second eleven , he had two knee operations while at warwickshire. he performed well but due couple to of setbacks and due to injury he did not progress to first team.

Shaaiq played his early cricket for Debyshire cc, under eleven to under 17's
He also represented north of England under 13's Midlands counties under 14's england regional sides.

Seen him play in local cricket here in Sheffield (midweek, sunday league).
He also played in a few county games for Bradford university

Worcestershire have signed left-arm spinner Shaaiq Choudhry on a full-time contract until the end of the 2011 season following a successful trial.

The former Warwickshire player made his first-class debut for the club in May and has impressed in the second XI.

Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes said: "We have been looking for a young English left-arm spinner for some time and I am pleased with the progress that Shaaiq has made in recent weeks."

He added: "This contract will give him the confidence to settle in with the club during the remainder of this season and through the winter."
