I think we had pretty much an excellent ODI year barr the champions trophy
SA were always going to be difficult to beat but we did manage to beat them once in SA
after all its not bad as some PP'ers would make out to be.
No better captaincy candidates available for England? Cook looks totally clueless as a captain most of the time.
Most of England victories under his captaincy are result of individual performances not because of his captaincy or wisdom.
Death bowling in my view ranges from the over 40th to over 50th. Meaning the last ten overs of the game in which teams go after the bowlers no matter what the situation. In these ten overs bowlers are targeted and even bowling line and length bowls can get hit for six or four. It requires an exceptional skill to bowl in these last overs. I have made a statistic chart for individuals who have bowled in these overs. I decided to go series by series so that you can see the evolution of our bowlers as they got used to the situation.

"What's my forecast? Oh I have to stay with 5-0. Just to annoy the Aussies,"
What do you think?
All throughout this ODI series, Ajmal has very rarely looked threatening against the Lankan top 6, even the likes of Chandimal and Matthews have played him with consumate ease, the majority of his scalps have been tail enders.
Will this concerned be eradicated in the test series? Or will SL continue to make merry with Ajmal?
