How do you rate this young Indian pacer? Do you think he has the talent to spearhead their attack for the next 5-10 years?

Ian Bell has struggled since 2012. Is he really as good as some people make him out to be?

Just saw him today and I am immensely impressed, moving the ball both ways at decent pace, classical high arm action....

I havent heard much about him but his bowling looks impressive!

If England will win ASHES by 2-0 then Pakistan will climb to 4th spot  , and so they can be allowed to played Test Championship but for that they have to show consistency till the fixture of this tournment will be announced. Well England are the favourites to win the ashes

in October we will play 2 test matches series against Southafrica i hope Pakistan will win it by 1-0 anyways one can hope only and then we will play test series against Srilanka well this series will be ours for sure last time Srilanka and Pakistan played eachother in 3 test match seriesPakistan won by 1-0 then later on when Pakistan toured SL we lost to them by 1-0. The only Test which Pakistan Lost against SL was under the captincy of  where ayub dogar made his debut

Anyways consistency is the key we should be consistent with our perfomance our test side is FIT  there is only problem with our opening slot
Middle Order     /  /rizwan

Before Misbah and YK retires we should be in comfortable position to play Test Championship

I know its too early to make this thread but this Test championship is the most important tournment even bigger than World cup and i want to know the views of maximum members here

Feels weird to hear him on the other side of the mic now. Seems like only yesterday we were hearing him being interviewed as a player by the same guys he is now sharing the box with it.

Doesn't sound quite at home - hearing him, still sounds like a player rather than a commie...

Anyone else think that lack of a home games in Pakistan, and not being part of the IPL is making Pakistan the "loners" of world cricket. I say this because Pak players aren't getting the opportunities to mingle with other international players/ teams on a regular basis. For example check most players that have Twitter accounts in the IPL. They tweet each other on a regular basis, it makes it interesting for us as fans to see how they interact with each other. It doesnt have to be just on twitter, it can be face to face as well. You look at MSD's bday party a few days ago, he was partying it up with Bravo and some other West Indian players and they smeared his face with cake. Doubt you will see something like that with Misbah ever happening. I know this doesn't have a direct co-relation to on field cricket, but as a cricket fan I personally enjoy seeing the small stuff like this because it shows the personality of cricketers on a different level. This wasnt the case a while ago, I think we as fans are missing this interaction with the Pak team.

I know he's 36 but looks very fit. Next world cup is in 2015 so that means we just need him for couple of years as I write he takes a very good catch of Nasir. Can be our wild card at the top of the order.

I was watching the Pak game last night and got to thinking - imagine having Anwar and Sohail open, with Ijaz Ahmed coming in first drop.

Imagine the torment Lara would have inflicted on hapless bowlers if he were to play in his prime.

And let's not dismiss the bowlers just yet - Wasim, Waqar, the 'Professor' - Saqlain - these names would have made brilliant T20 players.

Who else can you guys think of?

Any takers for Lance Klusener?

And how can we forget The King himself (Viv) ?

If the same "tried and tested failures" are the leading run-scorers and wicket-takers in domestic cricket, should the selectors be blamed for picking them?

One PakPassion member believes "Average in Wins" is an useless number.

Now our domestic structure is going through major structure changes but before there were only departments to back our domestic cricket and support domestic cricketers financially by giving them jobs, these departments produced great results for cricket in Pakistan. So which department you think made the most contribution?
