State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) defeated defending champions Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) by seven wickets in the final to secure the 2024-25 President’s Cup One-Day title at Faisalabad's Iqbal Stadium on Wednesday night. SBP bowled out SNGPL for a modest 165 in 37.3 overs, and successfully chased the target in 43.4 overs, thanks to an unbeaten half-century from Imran Butt.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) secured their spot in the President’s Cup final with a 71-run victory over Pakistan Television (PTV) in the second semi-final at Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala, on Monday night. SBP will now take on defending champions Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in the final, scheduled for Wednesday, 16 October, at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Bangladesh secured their first-ever Test victory against Pakistan in their 14th attempt, winning by 10 wickets in Rawalpindi with a session to spare.
