Clearing misconceptions about Misbah-ul-Haq
Now as well all know, Misbah is the most polarizing player/captain/entity in Pakistan cricket for the past decade, possibly ever. He is truly the eptiome of a hyperbole by which both sides of the equation seem to come out and laud him at his best, and torture him at his worst. As such he is also compared to the former Pakistani captain, who is his antithesis in Shahid Afridi in that they are exact opposites. One, a brash, arrogant, flamboyant and over the top player whom you have no idea what to expect, the other a calm, cool and collected player, who has had played selfishly at times, and yet has played to the needs of the team at other times. I will TRY, key word, try, to clear up misconceptions/opinions regarding Misbah, although I know many people will attack me from both sides, and the middle of the pack will agree to some extent, and of course chime in with their always welcome opinions and stats as well.
