In exclusive remarks to PakPassion.net, Bazid spoke on a variety of topics including the historic tour of Pakistan by the Zimbabwe team, the root causes behind Pakistan cricket’s declining fortunes and the possible solutions to improve it as put forward by his father, Majid Khan as well as his views on Saeed Ajmal’s future.
Mohammad Amir, the twenty three year old fast-bowler, was banned by the ICC almost five years ago for his role in the spot fixing scandal. Taking advantage of a special dispensation which allows Amir to take part in domestic cricket before the expiry of his ban in September (2015), the fast-bowler has been busy trying to regain his form by playing in a Grade II tournament as well as in the recently concluded Super 8 Twenty20 tournament where some of his deliveries brought back memories of a time when this precocious talent was considered as one of the best bowlers in the world.

Bangladesh started day 4 of the 2nd Test with a mountain to climb. They were 63/1 and needed a massive 487 to win but there were some hopes of a Khulna style counterattack. Pakistan bowlers had different ideas and lead ably by Misbah-ul-Haq they saw to it that no such fairy tale would not be possible for Bangladesh.
